Hi all. I thought some Tina Fey fans might be curious as to exactly what-all Sarah Palin says about Tina in her book, Going Rogue. She makes a brief, ever-so-slightly snipey mention of her on p. 293 (just a bit of sarcastic political humor, nothing major), and then later, on pages 308-314, she goes into quite a bit of detail about the night of her appearance on SNL, and her mentions of Tina are actually glowingly positive.

What this movie does to me cannot be explained. I must have been 7 years old the first time I watched this and cried my heart out when Mufasa died. 12 years later, I still cry when I watch this movie. The story is something that everyone can relate to. Simba is destined to become king one day and just can't wait to rule the throne; everyone can relate to wanting to grow up and become an adult, to do whatever they want and not have to worry about anything. His father tries to teach him that, despite the fact that he will one day be a king, his life will not be easy. Simba has to learn his lesson the hard way when his Uncle Scar kills his father and convinces Simba that it was his fault. Suddenly, growing up doesn't seem so great anymore. Sigh, there is so much more I want to say about this movie but it all comes down to one thing: this movie is a timeless masterpiece. Anyways, spamming with the whole movie was a little too ambitious for me so I just capped my favorite scenes (which turned out to be almost the whole movie anyway). So, on to the NOT DIAL-UP FRIENDLY picspam. :)
